Federally connected families, you can make a difference!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Each year, Alamogordo is unable to collect local taxes from tax-free federal properties. This means less money for public education. The federal government, however, partially reimburses APS for the cost of educating federally connected students through Impact Aid funds. The amount of Impact Aid schools receive is based on how many surveys are completed and submitted by parents on behalf of each student.
Please help Alamogordo Public Schools by filling out your 2025 Impact Aid form. Impact Aid is a required form to be completed separately for each student by parents using the PowerSchool Portal and will help the district and community get its fair share of federal funds.
