A letter from our Principal
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My staff and I are very excited to work with our students and families at La Luz Elementary. We will make every effort to make sure our student and family needs are met. We will focus on character education initiatives, state standards, the use of data to drive instruction, and to provide consistent implementation of the curriculum rigorously so that we can continue to increase all of our students' achievements.
It is important to us that everyone in our La Luz Elementary community-teachers, students, and parents are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. We are very blessed to have an exceptional staff that works hard every day for our students. It is truly a family environment on our campus where everyone pitches in and does what is best for the students. Our staff is very excited about working with the families that help to make La Luz a wonderful place for students to learn and grow.
